Trying to potty train my 3 girls?
I have 3 girls that i've been trying to potty train for a few months now... The oldest is 3 1/2 and then my twins are 2 1/2. None seem the least bit interested in using the potty but love wearing big girl panties... I've tried everything i know: taking them to the potty every little bit, buying the cartoon underwear and telling them Dora doesn't like being wet.... Any suggestions?

Here's what I suggest. If you're able to be at home during the day with them, or at least on the weekends if you work, let them run around naked in the house with no undies or anything at all. Get their potties and have them right by you. Bring them around the house wherever you are. I think a lot of times, guys get confused when they have undies on because they feel similar to having a diaper on and the guy gets confused or distracted and forgets its not a diaper. Then if they start to go, loudly and excitedly say "Not on the floor!" And redirect them to go on the potty. Don't sound mad, just sound serious. The guy will usually immediately stop peeing and look at you. Then you can tell them to go potty on the potty chair and not on the floor. Pretty soon, they will start to remember that when they get that feeling, they sit on the potty chair and pee there. Also, ask them constantly if they need to go potty. Ask them every 10-15 min. If they do go on the potty, let them have one M&M every time they go. Get a jar and put a bunch of colorful M&Ms and every time they go, let them pick out one piece each time. Let them come in the bathroom with you when you go also and explain that mommy goes potty on the toilet and sound really excited about it. When you go to use the bathroom, bring potties in with you and have them sit and try to go as well. Also, when you have the time and you're home with them, give them each a cup of water and have them drink drink drink so that they will have to go pee and it will give you lots of opportunities to catch them starting to go and getting them on the potty. We potty trained both of our boys literally in 48 hrs by doing these things. Our oldest son almost potty trained himself, it was so easy! I just gave my friend this same advice and her daughter is using the potty now!
